New Mural Wows in Dogpatch

Our friends across the street have an art gallery and they commis-sioned an artist to do this mural on their building. This is right across from our house and our daughter was one of the subjects. The other woman pictured is our neighbor Pat who lives just down the street She's lived here in Dogpatch for 50 years and went to school at I.M. Scott--here on the same street. It is the oldest schoolhouse in San Francisco.

The mural building is 40' at its highest. It is hard to describe the impact that this has had in the neighborhood. The reaction from neighbors and passersby has been tremendous and it has everyone talking. Aside from having one of my favorite subjects in it, it is just a fantastic installation.

Come by and check it out!
